My god ladies.....babies smell baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad!!!! I have been unfortunate enough to have changed enough nappies in my time to feel completely comfortable making that statement......fresh outta the bath is the only time upto the point where they poo again!!!!

AND EATING THEM?!!!!! Now I thought I was sick!

Number One
11th March 2008, 19:40

But when it's your baby their skin smell is captivating...meh, I guess you either get it or you don't.

I agree. We looked after a friends 14 month old a little while ago and I did the yukky shitty nappy 3 TIMES  He was only here 24 hours!!

But seriously, little babies have this smell that can not be described yummmm.

Give me another couple of years and I will say I am looking forward to my Grandchildren, and smelling them too...

Ok, I know I am sad.......LOL

11th March 2008, 20:11
congrats Toaster .. make the most of these early yrs as they go so damn fast .. :D

Tell me about it! One minute I am in nappies myself playing with my first matchbox car and next thing I know I am pushing 36 and have an heir to the Toaster empire (its a small empire but hey....):first:

Hi Mitch! Welcome to KB!

Certainly does! I try to be home by 7pm in time to bath, feed and sing a few songs to him before he goes to bed... he smells soooo good after his bath and lights up when I get home with that big grin!

Nappies.... noooot so yummy! Things we do huh?!

Hehe! Poor kid having me as a Dad! Yikes!

I only hope I can be a good and loving father and be there when he needs me. Relationships and time with family are far more important than wealth and material things.

He can ride on the back of my material two-wheeled things with me!

Everyone I know says breastfed babies smell delish, formula fed not quite so much. Our wee boy (ok, he's not so wee, he's actually pretty strapping at 6.5kg for a 7 wk old) smells luffly

Congratulations Toaster - babies are wonderful aren't they? Yours is pwetty damn cuute! Hubby is completely besotted with ours, the big marshmallow

Prefer to do it over a changing table or old piece of cloth - the risks of leakage dropping into, and spoiling the beer just aren't worth thinking about.

Yep, time like someone to pull silly faces, sing him songs and jump around like an idiot to make him giggle.... then there are the times we just cuddle up and he gives me a big wet bubba kiss on my cheek covering me in dribble!! It's all good!

He had his first sit on the cruiser a while ago before the crash. Now I doubt my Mrs will let him anywhere near a bike! She was going to buy gear so she could ride pillion but has sadly dropped that idea like a hot potato - a shame but understandable.

I've had [more than one] crashes, and written off two (2!) bikes, but my wife still rides with me.

I certainly will, I guess the problem is she has never ridden on a bike before and had the "bikes are way too dangerous" attitude anyway. I think it will take a while before my confidence comes back anyway.... she may change her mind one day.

As I said to Pussy, she has never been on a bike, so I guess it will take her some time to come around to the idea again - but I am a patient and persistant man... I always get my way eventually. Once Mitchell is a little older she may get the nerve up again to buy some gear and join me.

Dont sweat it Toaster, That little fella will go the way of bikes, or not, in his own sweet time, I'd be more concerned with the extra hand growing on his denim jacket. I recomend 30 second freaky large hand killer spray.
