Never looked back after buying my stuff from him.

If you just want beginner gear, PM him, as he usually had last seasons gear selling real cheap.

or find what you want in a local bike shop then buy it for half the price on ebay :)

Make sure you try the gear on before buying it. Comfort is essential...

Dunno what your budget is - but I can recommend Alpinestars.

Check out Motomail outlet, its a very very very good place.

You can get Draggggggggggin Jeans for half price...

...Well they are second hand but they are in mint condition. Hardly noticable.

Also, Draggin Jeans are very comfortable. You don't steam like the Chinese dumplings on high-humid day in normal bike trousers

Hey Madandy,

I have my heart set on buying the new Ninja within a couple of weeks so cant wait to get my hands on it :2thumbsup

East Tamaki Motorcycles had a good deal $6995 but unfortunately they have sold out all of March and even April's shipment already...so I'll have to spend 300bucks more and get it from another store in Mt Eden i suppose.

Cool - good to see you chasing down gear info before you buy the bike. You can often wrangle a good deal with the shop for gear to be thrown in with the bike. Barter the hell outta them.

Good luck

For your helmet & boots buy new, helmets rarely show damage and who wants footrot.
Motomail are good for gear.
For leathers and gloves buying second hand will save you money and leather lasts a long time.
Get some leathers with decent body armour. can always buy a lightweight jacket/oversuit to wear over a leather jacket. Am personally not a fan of gortex.

I went with Alpinestars and i love it.

My mate went with Quasimoto and i love his gear too.

Go with the best fitting i guess.
