I just want to say thankyou very much, to all the corner workers, medics, and race day management that attended the Fatal accident on the weekend. A very hard posistion to find your self in ( Talk to friends as much as you can, to try and let it out again) The riders can feal your pain.

Well said gremlin, it is a sad day for all, both were husbands, fathers, sons, and mates. both in there prime.
We are all mourning there loss and our haerts go out to the families and friends of both men.
Personally, I want to pass on my condolences to the AMCC as well, to the marshells and medics, they did everything right! It will be as hard for them as for the families and also all of us who knew these men.
Also to the 600 SS guys who had to witness something that noone should have too.

Couldn’t agree with you more Shaun. I can’t imagine what the people who were standing at the hair-pin are going thru, as I’m finding it hard to deal with.

I have nothing but admiration for the medics and marshals who get out there and look after us and make our racing possible.

My condolences’ to Derek and Phil’s family and friends as well.

Thank you Shaun and others who have passed on their thoughts to myself and others, it is appreciated.

I concur... it is appreciated.

Thanks to you too Glenn... You have my utmost respect... I met you through a friend before I joined KB, then when I had my first bin you were there to check on me.. & you were there on sunday too. You have been in my thoughts of late (not in a weird way tho). Sending *hugs* just because.

My thoughts are with everyone involved, family, friends, medics, riders, marshalls, officials & everyone who has been affected by the accident. Although I did not know the guys, it is still hard. The last couple of days have been difficult.

Was there at the weekend and was just thankful that I was in the grandstand at the time and didnt witness the accident. Those that had to deal with the aftermath have my utmost respect. I thought the organisers did a great job of handling an exceptionally tragic situation. The crowd were given sufficient information to realise the seriousness of the situation and I didnt hear any complaints about the delay in proceedings.
Thanks Speedie and others for doing a job I just couldnt contemplate handling. And I would include the police in that. As motorcyclists we love to hate them but it is often they who have to clean up our mess when things go wrong on the road.
