View Full Version : The sky is a hazy shade of winter

Isn't is sad that summer seems to have flown by.
:cold:
Time, time, time, see whats become of me
While I looked around
For my possibilities
I was so hard to please
But look around, leaves are brown
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter
:cold:
Hear the salvation army band
Down by the riverside, its bound to be a better ride
Than what youve got planned
Carry your cup in your hand
And look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter
:cold:
Hang on to your hopes, my friend
Thats an easy thing to say, but if your hopes should pass away
Simply pretend
That you can build them again
Look around, the grass is high
The fields are ripe, its the springtime of my life
:cold:
Ahhh, seasons change with the scenery
Weaving time in a tapestry
Won't you stop and remember me
At any convenient time
Funny how my memory slips while looking over manuscripts
Of unpublished rhyme
Drinking my vodka and lime
:cold:
But look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter
:cold:

There's plenty of riding yet to do in winter!

Nothing personal but I see biker down cries as calls for possible help, if they're near me they get help... not to be treated lightly.
Any chance of changing the title?

Autumn is teh bestest, what's the problem?
At least then my bike doesn't start pinking in heavy traffic under the sun whilst my legs cook and I sweat all over. Winter's cool too, all the posers stop riding :)

So who can name the group that sing that song??
That's the easy bit - Simon & Garfunkel.
What was meant by the post I don't get...

Tip : get some of those handwarmers from Kathmandu - little rectangular clear pockets filled with some sort of gel. You "pop" a metal disc inside and a chemical reaction results. They stay warm for hours . A couple in the inside pockets of your jacket, and a couple in the outside ones where you can put your hands. Better than sex. :dodge: Well, almost as good. Actually, they don't compare - but they're very good!

Wow, that's pretty fancy.
I think I'll stick with PVC mittens, though.
