Seriously – how close do you ride to cars?
I don’t think I’ve ever had ash flicked on me – is this a common thing out there, or perhaps just in the cities or something?

Had the odd butt bounce and fly toward my air intakes... but the grill stopped it.

Only had issues with cig butts never ash.

I did hear of one KB'er who had a butt land in his lap... sped up and threw it through the cars open window....

Studies have found that eating and drinking affects the focus of 1.7% of motorists involved in accidents, whereas mobile phones - usually blamed for distracting drivers- only affects 1.5%. It has also been suggested that frequently operating an in-car CD player is more distracting than either activity.

Studies not named... suggested by whom??

What a load of bullsh1t. The press in the UK is just as full of sh1t as it is here.
