Date - Sat 23rd Feb between 1830 - 1930
Location - Longford Street Panmure (near Sylvia park)

Between these hours my car got hit by a white toyota van reversing while I was working.

There was a note left saying " sorry about your car I was looking at the big concrete poles and backed into your vehicle.

Signed - H Malmetlle
Ph - 0211 822242

I have rang and texted this number left messages and found out it is a prepay number, some chick who answered on the one occasion did not want to disclose details.

No rego or futher details were left on the note yet the note was given to me from a guy living over the road.

I havent been to the cops because I feel it would be classified as one of those cases where it'd be put at the bottom of the pile and forgotten.

The damage done is quite a bit, I'll post up some pics next week. I feel that this guy shouldnt get away with what he did.

Do you have insurance, if so pass the info onto your insurers and let them chase it up.

even tho they wont pay up, they might help you track him. Also ask around the area to see if someone jotted down his rego.

Good luck.

Are you sure on the spelling?

Google doesn't know about Malmetlle anywhere....

Normaly you'll get a hit on surnames somewhere on earth.

Common misconception but not always true. There is generally a clause around being hit by an uninsured driver for example like I used
