This isn't a definite yet, but I just got my Ninja back from the shop after having a few things on it repaired and advice from the mechanic was "sell it" which I'll be honest about. It's an old bike, and probably not gonna be terribly reliable for much longer... It wasn't the smartest buy and I'm not even going to go into the reasons why I was convinced to get it except to admit I was new at bikes and not very clever and taking the wrong advice.

So now I'm taking someone else's advice that seems a lot smarter for me (though it pains me) and to downgrade. I can ride my GPX but I'm tiny and not very strong, so a friend who used to sell bikes gave me the advice that I need to find I bike that I can pick up if it's down. I can't do that with my GPX.

So, if there's anyone out there whom might be interested in my Ninja, or possibly even better for me, if someone has smaller bike such as an FXR150 that they'd like to trade for it...

Yeah, pretty much.

I've got a bike for sale for you.

IT's quite small and underpowered so should be a good match for you. Seeing as how it doesn't accelerate like a sportsbike and all....

The Virago is reliable as. Needs an oil change at the moment but other than that, nothing wrong with it. Even went to Hamilton and back, then the toy run today then over to the Oko on to Hamilton and back to Tauranga.

What year GPX, whats the odometer reading, and what problems are there with it?

It's an '89, odo's reading a bit under 50,000kms. No problems with as of this point in time as it just got back from the mechanics. Just it's old and will develop problems faster because of it.

I completely forgot to state that didn't I... I'm not sure. I'm not sure it's real worth. I bought it for $3000 late last year, and it's in better condition now than it was. Tomorrow I'll be asking one of my friends who used to sell bikes to give me an estimate on how much she reckons it's worth though.
