Well gang, bike sold and went last weekend and shortly after it left out-of-sight some kind of overwhelming, depressive feeling started coming over me. I started crying, pining for my love (see first pic) and then went into some kind of convulsive sickening fit slowly assuming a "foetal like" position on the famed bike bench. You don't really realise how good your bike looks until someone else is riding it. I have betrayed my love. I'm such a "barrrsssttiiiidddd!!".

Words of comfort please for someone just getting over cold turkey. :(

The only possible option is buy yourself a new bike stat!! Pour all your love and attention into it and the pain will lessen every day.

My assistant Stinkarse seems quite happy that my baby has gone. Whenever we were working on the bike it was like she was thinking "Count your own nuts, bolts and fairing fasteners you fat, lazy barstad!" Ahh, cats... gotta luv em.

I see that you wet your self on the famed workbench, at least you have a decent excuse.

Don't pine over a lost love, start searching for the next, or do you have one in mind?

Hahaha, I was waiting for someone to come up with that one. I'm quite positive that it was an oil spill. Either that or I'm inadvertantly wallowing in Stinkarse's piss. (I'm quite sure that I didn't piss myself either Mr FunnyPants).

Hmmm... Hamilton Motorcycles say that they're getting their first 05 ZX636 on Monday 6th. Day trip methinks.
Contemplating spending hard earned money on non-wealth generating, depreciating assets once again.

O yeah, to sooth my transition from cold turkey I've been listening to bike exhaust sounds from the Scorpion site and letting them loop on surround sound. How pathetic is that??? (Rhetorical question, no need to answer).

Oooh, it's a "second-guess what he'll buy next" thread, now.

How 'bout one one of those naked Bindit 12 summer specials. Twiddle the engine up to 140bhp, add an Öhlins rear shock and GSXR1000 front end.

Naked black stealth rocket.

know how you feel... i sold my beloved xj900, that i had from brand new, after 8 years...i contemplated walking into the path of a bus... but a couple of weeks latter i could not stand it any more...hello cb350/4 ..you saved my life.....man, once it wound up it sounded sooooooooo sweet, sure it was small, slow, heavy, the clutch cable snaped in rush hr in the rain , in wellington, but i loved it, even took it round taupo's track last year....

Its amazing how much not being able to ride can upset a person. My baby has been sitting in the gargre not being able to be used for about 2 weeks, i had a dream lastnight that got me really sad, all it was was dreaming about filling her up at the gas station!

Been thinking about short, squat, naked... bikes lately. I think tis because I'm such a short, boonty bugger myself. You know how riders and their bikes sometimes look alike?
