I kinda cheated, and nicked a Magnum that gijoe1313 wasn't exactly using...
And I can say without shadow of a doubt, the horn has saved my life on at least 3 occasions in the last 2 months.
Get one, and don't be afraid to use it!

These are a great horn btw ... I want one.
the price on Bikerhighway.com HERE (http://www.bikerhiway.com/stebel-nautilus-compact-motorcycle-air-horn-chrome-p-279.html) is $US41.00 for horn and about $US25.00 shipping to NZ door. If you're buying in bulk with a discount, how come the prices are almost the same landed in NZ at whatever exchange rate - apples with apples comparison? Not being a smart arse, a genuine query.

Because I don't have to deal with a ex rate that all over the place and i have to pay gst on the order at customs, lets not forget the credit card charges oh and the convenience of have me do everything for you :), i don't do this for love mate.

For the Magnum - yes.
The Nautilus requires installation of a relay. Mine came with the relay provided, though it pays to install a fuse inline as well.

If it's anything like the last time, the order would have been split up into multiple boxes, it's my understanding that 1 of those boxes has arrived back in england.
I don't suppose that we will have to pay for the mail SNAFU though - or what's the story?
No, you guys won't have to pay a cent more than you have already.
Once again guys and girls, i appoligise for the delay with this order, this is the first time that crap like this has happened, i am trying to find out what the hell has happened, but if I cant figure out anything by the end of June, i'll be in touch with my supplier to see what hes going to do about it.
As the order was never received or signed for by me, he is liable to replace the missing items or refund any money paid.
Thanks again for your continued patience.

LOL …
There is no local post office… all of your previous items have been received via courier post but without a track and trace number for the package’s they are unable to assist.
I’m afraid I that when I rang NZ post and asked if they had received a package/s for Murray Harris at my address, all I received was muted laughter. .. I don’t know how the Royal Mail works my friend .. LOL .. but that’s not how it works over here.
On a side note, I haven’t received the packed returned to you either.
I need some sort of resolution to this issue mate, I have customers who have pre paid for product that I have paid you for, that I have not received.
Please advise as to where we can go from here.

Bought mine online from OZ, took only few days ......All you need is creditcard.(seventy some dollars all up delivered it was ...)
Instructions as in how to install are included.....Just buy some beefy wire with 25A fuse.
I needed to seperate horn from little compressor, and connect with tube because I didn't have enough room behind little fairing to leave in one piece....

I wouldnt mind hearing that story as well:msn-wink:, got the sebal that was on the SV and havent found anywhere suitable to put it on the trumpy yet.
the airhorn bits are clamped around te compressor, and have a little o ring on that connection and a plastic locking tab.
You can pry them apart easy with a flat screwdriver or so.
Take the airhorn to your local plumbershop, and match it up with the right size clear tubing.(forgot how many mm it was)
It fits into compessor wit o ring, and fits around male tube from horn.
Now you have one round compressor to fit wherever you want...(I drilled small holes in fairing and cable tied it on...Hard to see)
I took the hacksaw and took the clamp of the horns and installed them pointing forward ad downward under headlight with help of ......cableties indeed
Now you run your clear plastic tube and connect both, secure tube around horn male end with small cable tie.
Doesn't come undone, works great and easy enough to cut cable tie when you need to remove fairing.
Cable ties don't rust, easy to tension up, can colour match......
Good luck,
Let me know if you need more help....
Let me know how you go....
May take pics of my setup if that is helpfull.....(find camera-charge it etc....):scooter:

My instructions where one side for bikes with earth wire to horn button (most common).....the other side for bikes with positive/live wire to horn button
Then top was for leaving old horn connected......bottom was for replacing old horn with Stebel...
So once you pick the correct set up for your bike, you have only one of the 4 different diagrams to follow...
Magnifying glass came in handy for me to see the fineprint...
have a look at this link:

Thats for an air-horn - yeah if I wire it back to front it will suck instead of blow. Mine are just conventional horns. I figured it didnt make any difference. Will test again today.

Mine turned up Friday morning. Thanks. A m8 has one on his C90 and came around to see me at work. After he honked the horn there were people 150m away looking to see where the noise came from. LOL.

I just put on a Magnum onto my vtr, now it sounds like a train comng down a track with the horn blowing to say get out of the way :) nice simple plug and play upgrade.

VTR250? Wouldn't happen to have any pics of how you mounted it would you?
Been thinking of getting one, but i'm not to sure how well they would fit in were the stock horn is.

Its easy as, just remove the stock one, use one of the metal bars that come with the magnum and screw one hole into where the stock mount is and the other into the back of the magnum and the plugs just clip straight on so no rewiring needed either. (you might need to bend the metal bar a bit to get a nice fit but otherwise its a straight swap) ill take a pic if you think you really need one
