Was riding to newmarket to meet the missus, being careful as always but enjoying the last rays of the day and the crisp air when a blue car shoots past me, indicates for a millisecond and cuts in just in front of me. Good thing I was being aware as I just calmly slowed down and cruised along. When the car stopped in front i rode up to the driver window and told the lady politely that she should check her blind corner as that was a very close shave. She apologised, I said hey no worries as long as you learn to check your blind corner. The light went green I kept on riding and she went her own way. Now was I in the right doing this? i didn't lose my cool and she seemed to absorb the message, at least temporarily lol.

Na If I wanted to lose it I would have hopped up on my seat and round house kicked the pillar of her car into her head and calmy hopped back down, all whilst never leaving my bike.

good on you for being cool. I had a car ALMOST pull out in front of me while was doing 100clicks on the open road. I rudely gave her the finger then realised she was one of my clients, and a very nice old duck too. :pinch: I felt really awful, and I nearly went around there right away and apologised. I didn't though, and I still feel like an asshole.
I really think I won't do that again. :crybaby:

I need to get me some armoured gauntlets to smash me some wing mirrors..
But right now i'm just giving for the giving the finger and going ape-mental at them. Always a laugh.
went to Tauranga this weekend, nice cagers mostly, but some people were just shocking.. just wanted to kick their lights in..

Whatever tranquilisers you are on could I have some. Saying sorry after the event does not dimninish the consequences or cut it for me. If cagers had to ride real vehicles before being granted a license the road toll would be drastically reduced.:Oi:

Oh so being a client absolves her of all responsiblility. Fuck off she is a liability and you should have stopped and rearranged her clock, by not doing so you have condemned other bikers to the same fate. THANKS PRICK.:argue:

Good on you, fair enough too might make her equate bikes with actual people on em which some drivers don't seem to get.
Was cruising on the motorway Sat and saw an Impreza filtering at about 120k, you know the start to change lanes, indicate as changing, stay in lane for 3 seconds, repeat manouevre kinda guy.
Sometimes I treat cars who cut in front as some sort of Karma comeback for all the cars we carve up and scare the crap out of by momentarily popping in front of them with great noise and flashes of colour before disappearing at warp speed.

THANKS PRICK.:argue:nah man, she didn't deserve my over-reaction ay. It wasn't that much of a transgression - I just got a fright. And she has had a tougher time than me with "stuff".
And quit with calling me names. Direct your anger somewhere that will actually assist everyone, rather than at someone who is on your side.

Just on the damage side... It's all well and good to get fucked off and smash shit on people's cars but save it for when they REALLY deserve it - i.e. actual contact or mm close and they give you the bird instead of the "fuck I'm sorry :eek5:" look.
There's no call for taking off a mirror because someone almost changed lanes onto you etc. You don't want cages trying to smash our mirrors when they think we've cut them up do ya?
Pushing the mirror forward so they have to stop and readjust it is enough of a message. Even better if you can manage it open a rear door and watch them spaz out. :devil2:

Well whats wrong with pulling up beside her, snorting back then dropping a big loogie on her windscreen? Kind of says it all really. Of course don't try this with a full face on or it could get a little messy !

LMAO!
Now I was expecting this type of post! lol I think you did very well, I think people are much more receptive when someone tells them they did something wrong in a calm manner. When you start yelling and screaming and jumping around people get scared and get on the defensive.
I just wish I could be as calm as you in that situation! I need to practice :)

i'm having major issues with cagers forgetting where their indicators are..it a 2 inch hand movement to flick it on, you don't even have to switch it off (flash as!)..pulling into a the road towards work and a guy who very clearly saw me pulled out from a side road without indicating, nearly took me out. i turned anound and followed him to the lights where i had just turned, pulled up beside him and knocked on his window. just said 'i know your car is fairly late model, but i'm fairly sure they should've installed indicators, do you have any?' he points to the lever at the left side of the steering wheel, and i said 'fucking use it, then!' and took off. jesus, man..theres some real assholes around new plymouth for that. getting real sick of it.

Give stick to the woman in the passengers seat if possible, the driver will hear about how you were wrongly abusing them for at least a good 1/2 hour, and several times later in the day. Then they wont do it again ;)
