Hey Dudes and Dudess's
Just come back from a fab weekend.
I trotted down to Lumsden last night and stopped in the Royal Mail and caught up with a mate form Invers. Had a fab ride down there, got the bit between my teeth, the road was sticky and the sun was a shinning. god I love it when its like that.:ride:
Had a heavy night on Friday too so was glad to get to Lumsden to have a snooze:yawn:
Woke up really late today, so jumped on my bike and set off to Mandeville, the the ferking weather got cloudy and cold, as soon as I went past Balfour, but it didnt rain, so that was a relief.........
Got welcomed into the site by a dude waving a union jack flag and parked with the other british bikes and THE OTHERS had to park over the other side:nya:
Anyway, parked up and a tot of port got thrust into my hand, and with this stupid head cold, that came in handy.
Fuck there were some choice bikes there, the oldest I saw was a 1928 immculate Aerial, ridden by a lovely old guy.
Following a trivia quiz, awards and one hell of a gossip, rode back into Sunshine, and the ride back was quick as I was with a bunch of Queenstowners. I don't think there is a better feeling in the world than riding with your mates. Nice long roads, only one cop, couple of beers, what could be better:D
So got back home, and now starting to pack for rock to Wellington, with a track day and Bike Course at Teratonga the following week. I'm loving it loving it loving it
I sold my car, so now getting around on my vespa and Tex my bonny, very liberating, but the novelty of not having a car will soon wear off............................
Getting a 600 Suzuki car done up for me in Dunners......it'll run on Peanut Juice......:killingme:spudflip:
So all in all a top weekend....hope you dudes had a good time too:2thumbsup
Coi for now
