At first glance thought it was my bike. Nice job.
Same specs as mine except I've painted (dark/matt/gunmetal) fairing to match other plastic on bike, and a Gel seat for my old ass.

I do think with the black frame like yours, they do look better just with the bellypan.

I like the look of the black frame as well. No desire to get the full fairing myself. The standard mufflers had to go though!

The black frame is one of the best cosmetic changes they ever made IMHO.

No K8 1000 showing yet. So either they are dropping it, or it will be coming out in the full fairing as well..??

The SV would need a hell of a lot of added meganess to make it into a R version. For a start it would have to be as good as a TLS, then it set its sights on the TLR ;)

The SVs may not be up to your standard, but their ours and WE like them.

Hey they are family, and im just highlighting the fact that the SV should never get an R label.

The SV has a tamer, smooth, more usable motor.
Easier to ride, better handling etc...

Against the TL which was built better and had more power.

I dont see no negatives :)

Dunno about an "upgrade" from the Sprint, it's a different bike altogether and not as comfortable for touring. It is a great bike, but make sure you get a good ride on one before you buy. Though I'm probably only stating the obvious here, anyway...:second:

my old mans got a black sv1000. its definately the best 1 ive ever seen.

its got full fairings but they differ from the suzki 1s, yoshi cans, K&N filter, black double bubble screen, rear hugger, tail tidy and the licence plate has been cut a bit. looks real clean and sharp. has a bit of a blue pearl on the fairings so looks 2 tone in the sun. gets ALOT of looks

ill post sum pics up l8a
