As the title say....
I might be on an 08 R6 for this coming season. But I cant confirm yet
I was originally going to spend the year catching up and training, but its been 3months sonce i sold the Honda and im already going insane!
So I have bit the bullet and stepped up.
Ill be living on bread and water for a while but I should have heaps of fun while doing it. So its worth it :devil2:

Ummmmm, don't you work in a Honda dealership?
To be perfectly honest (and boy am I gonna cop a flakking for this one), I simply can not believe no body is campaigning a CBR600 in a serious manner. They're fucken fantastic!

Good choice. From what I'm hearing the CBR is only competitive if you throw a couple of houses worth of stuff at them. Could be wrong. It's difficult to get the good oil when you have half the site on ignore :pinch:

I understand exactly what you mean. They are great!
But the deal im getting with this bike is too good to say no to. Its cheaper for me to get the Yamadog than it is to get a Honda!
Honda arent willing to do anything for me what so ever.
The cbr600's are great bikes! stupid midrange for a 600, so im kinda gutted, but ive got to look after my own interests too.

You'll hate me for this (http://www.yamaha-racingparts.com/), but compare the price of a race ECU against a PC3

Swap you for some sprockets?
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Sparky obviously wants to do things the easy way. Can't blame him really. Young folk are like that...

Mate, I would have been VERY happy on a new Honda, but there are no decent ones around for the same price with all the bits on it.
If someone can find me a tricked up Honda then let me know!
And you do know I work at a bike shop aye?
So unbeatable might not be true :msn-wink:

From personal exp at this years nats, I can tell you in the right hands the honda would be devistating.
It is certainly not lacking the horses in both mid and top end(it was actually nice to have a honda that could pass at the end of the straight for once!!). Although I still couldn't pass the bernard bikes at Puke I could stay on their back wheel.
The problem this year was that being the only one on the grid and not having anyone to bounce ideas off did prove difficult but in the end I I loved riding it, it was a pleasure, so so so much better than the 05-06!
How soon did you need one cos I can one x japan in race trim, ie plastics, rear sets, filter, exhaust ecu............
