just wanted to ask if anyone has a left hand side rearset hanging around for a zxr 250a. mine just snapped as i was leaving for work and its pretty hard to ride a bike with the gear shifter dragging on the ground :(

if anyones got suggestios as to how i can fix it too that would be greatly appreciated as i wanted to ride this long weekend...

just to give a bit of a picture its a sideways triangle snapped of at the base with the pointy bit holding the footpeg and gear shifter separated from the base.

thanks in advance :niceone:

I got both sides of mine welded. Can an Aucklander suggest a good aluminium welder?

Hmm, I think your person 6 or 7 who I've heard with this problem on a ZXR (I was one too, but the brake side).

Based on mine and others attempt to get a replacement welding is probably the only option, every second-hand one I looked at was cracked, and new doesn't seem to be an option unless you get a (expensive) aftermarket rearset.

Ask around for a good welder in your area, personally I think the alloy used in the bracket it shit, so welding it (well) will take a bit of skill.
