I thought it was a bit light - I'm sure I paid more tax than that.
However, it also does not include road tax, GST, ACC levies, and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous stuff.
My wife got a bonus lately, which ended up as more of a bone once all the 'meat' was gnawed off by the taxman: 41% of it.
