Say Eric, it's been a while, and pleased you sold the SV and got your Vstrom.

Just gave Charlie Bravo a good polish and lubed the chain. You know when you listen to that little voice inside of you: like while I was polishing the bike, I thought to myself 'this is a damn good bike why do you want to let it go....?'

The little voice tells me, 'that the bike has got more weight and power than I need.' Well I know that type of attitude and opinion will probably stir the hornets nest, but don't get me wrong the bike is a real beauty, however I am convinced that to look for something else is probably the right thing for me, for me, to do leading into winter.

FYI: I bought mine brand new in January for $10500 including ORCs for 1 year and with an RRP $800 Shoei helmet thrown in i.e. an effective sale price of approx $9500.

Yep and you've got to expect about 20% depreciation the minute it is rolled out of the showroom..

Thanks for your offer FJ however,,,,

I am crunching numbers, and the only daylight I have is to throw in a paddock stand at this stage, and I reckon you would have a stand anyways.

I can't see the bike going for less than $8895 this week,,, or next.

Yeah, I understand. It took me a year to sell the ducati, may take some time to sell the SV too. If you're not in a hurry to sell then you'll sell it eventually. although it's funny how often your first offer ends up being your best offer and you don't find out till 6 months later. Thats what happened with the Ducati.
