I think my neighbour just set her dog on me!
It was just a wee scottie, but man it was angry.

I'd just been to the supermarket and rode home, slowed to ride in my gate, and I swear I saw my neighbour unleash her dog and open her gate to let the little bugger out.

It tore across the road and I had to brake sharply to stop from running it over, it was intent on attacking my front tyre. It had a go at my leg but I was wearing my massive MX boots and its teeth just gave the pastic another few scratches.

The owner, a 40-something woman, came running over and grabbed it and apologised a lot; "sorry, he likes to attack motorbikes, really sorry!" etc.
I laughed and said it was okay but once I had a moment to think about it I swear she let it go on purpose.

I guess the lady was annoyed at the noise of my bike in her quiet street.
If that happens again she's going to be scooping her dog off the road with a shovel, as I'm not going to stop next time.

The Bitch!(the owner)

Dont blame the dog - blame the owner!!

I hit a dog once. Doing about 65kph. It was a lab cross so it was quite a sizable bugger. Cant believe I didn't drop the old FZR400 I had at the time. It did fuck up the front end a bit though. It never felt right after that wee incident. The dog was put down also - which was a bit of a downer.

Just report it to the council. Owner will get a visit from them and will loss any discount on dog registration if it happens again.

It did! Your dog left bigger teeth-marks than the scottie. Same boot even! I should start a bleedin collection of maul-marks.

Maybe it's my boots. They do smell a bit...

Fucking good job. I sick my dog on hippies all the time although they tend to spit the meat out. Tastes too much like veges.

Think for a few moments longer. She wanted her dog to run out and risk getting run over by you? You may hate the dog, but I doubt she hates it that much. The whole thing (let dog off leash, open gate, dog runs out) may have looked predictable, even inevitable, in hindsight, but I'm sure it took her by surprise as much as you.

You're paranoid, aren't you? Aren't you?

i had something similar, but it was a bit bigger than a scotty. neighbours/owners were right there laughing. 2 dogs, both a decent size. first one i let cross before i left the drive, and the second one all i saw was teeth going towards my foot. fucked if i know what kind of dog they were [mongrels, the usual type low lifes have, yanno] but the dog ranger didnt do jack shit when i reported it.

"My dog doesn't like motorbikes" is not an excuse. Your dog is not under control is the problem.
Beware though that the last time that happened to me the owner was pretty angry after seeing the dog somersault after being given a huge kick under the throat. Threatend to call the cops, so I said - dont bother I'll call them myself and show them the bite so it will get put down and he was off!!
Actually I believe it was not the dog that deservered the kicking it was the owner.
Damn dog bit just above the bootline and did it bleed!!!!

Strange - our dog likes veges with his meat, - he's particularly fond of olives, although he does like rockmelon with his latte.

Obviously the little dog in this situation doesn't like junk food....

Nah, sorry Steam, I don't even know you - just kidding ;)

An indian lady once stepped fearfully out into the road as I walked past with my dogs. I nearly said "Don't worry ma'am, they don't like ethnic food."

True.

It's all those extra bits of tyre on your bike - they've all probably been pissed on by various dogs at times, hence why other dogs hate your bike (or want to piss on it).

It's not only dogs who hate the bike, a certain bunch of moron mormons up north also dislike it immensely.

Yes to Jantar's one, no to Planna's one.

See, Scottie Dogs are lethal, they keep them in cages even!
