Can people post who they would recommend to machine an axle and necessary spacers when the forks or wheels have been changed, also would they machine different offset brake carriers too.

The key requirement is that the wheel is in the centreline and the axle doesn't weigh heaps

Try DG Engineering in Newlands or I think he has a workshop in Grenada. He does all sorts but does build his own race cars and does fantastic work. Also a one-stop shop, he can do the lot. Bit hard to keep on a schedule sometimes. I've got him to help me out with a few bike projects. His TIG welding is the best I have ever seen.

Pete Sales is the man you need to talk to @Total motorcycles in Palmerston North.Hes been building race bikes for well over 20yrs and has all the necessary equipment in house.They did one for me about 6 months ago and it was mint and reasonably priced.Both Pete and his son Chris are experienced motor machinists and dedicated motorcyclists.You can contact them on 06 3296 868
