Why does Auckland get all the new roads

Was in Taranaki all last week, saw some road works just out of Paritutu on 45 and they're building an expressway into Fitzroy from Bell Block.

95% or all roadwordks around here in auckland are resurficing perfectly good roads and not bothering with the ones that need it. Fucking waste of money if you ask me. Complete idiots are those ppl from the councl. I pay taxes too and I want them used the right way, be it another parts of nz and not only auckland. I ride whole NZ.

Auckland gets multi-lane motorways (north and south) with 1.5 million people (give or take a few 100 thou.)and the provences get winding bush clad coastal roads with spectacular views, bugger all traffic, bugger all cops. AND YOU WANT WHAT THEY GOT ??????
