Just a warning to everyone out there

There is a scam going on worldwide offering bikes at super cheap prices

They offer a shipping company ship - american.com as a third party which doesn't exist

A common theme is that the seller is working on an oil rig in Alaska

Precautions
Ask for phone number - if they don't have one avoid
Google the persons name you are dealing with - they have probably already scammed someone else
Ask for an address and tell seller that you have a friend who can go and inspect gear - you wont get a reply

Be careful

Yup! Along with the one where you have advertised a car or bike for sale and they offer to pay more than it's worth as well as shipping. They'll deposit the money, you'll send it off and they reverse the transaction.
