Name the one scene from a movie that stands out the most of all the scenes of movies your have seen. More than one if you can remember.
For me the its Planet of the Apes and that Statue of Liberty at the end of the film. Frecked a bit when that happened.

I was six when my dad took me to the movies, and we stood in a long long line that almost went to the corner of the block.
I didn't know what Star Wars was, not having had a video player or a TV when I was little, and I was too young to have seen the first two.
Thus started 24 years of Star Wars obsession!
I vividly remember this scene... the first approach to the second Death Star. Remember I hadn't seen a Death Star before, or a Star Destroyer.

The bit I always remember from Aliens is when Ripley gets into the giant yellow robot/mech-suit and shouts "Get away from her, you Bitch!".
Great line. Great movie.

The scene in Alien where the creature bursts out of John Hurt's stomach. I was in a freezing, dark cinema when it first came out and we didn't know the plot. Guy feels a bit crook at the meal table then blammo. Made an impression on me.

Always makes me feel sick that humans can be so barbaric and yet we are supposed to be the most 'evolved' species.

For fight scences: Pale Rider, when Clint takes out four or five bad guys with an axe handle. "Nothin' like a good piece of hickory"
For leaving you to wonder what happened next: The end of The Italian Job..."Hang on, I've got an idea..."
For unexpected twist: When Michael Caine gets shot at the end of Get Carter
For a sheer "lightbulb" moment: When Kevin Spacy walks away at the end of Usual Suspects.

Fatal Attraction
That was one crazy woman and when she leaped up from the bath at the end after you thought she must be dead almost made me drop a log in my pants.
My older sister and her boyfriend took me to this on my 16th birthday and as you could imagine girls/woman scared the shit out of me after this film.

Grave of the Fireflies. The very end, as the camera rises above the ghosts of the children sitting and watching the lights of modern Kobe.
My favourite film.

Never did see Blazing Saddles but the WILD BUNCH Man what a shootem up.
Supposedly, more blank rounds were discharged during the production than live rounds were fired during the Mexican Revolution of 1914 around which the film is loosely based. In total 90,000 rounds were fired, all blanks.

The Wild Bunch set the cinematic world on its ear by opening with a violent shoot-out which could easily serve as an excellent finale to any film. The famous finale, known as "The Battle of the Bloody Porch", is still the most powerful shoot-out ever filmed. As the saying goes, this scene has often been imitated but never equaled.
http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Academy/1912/bunch.html
They don't make 'em this way any more.

PS If no has not seen this its worth getting out if you can find a DVD copy for the shootout alone.

one scene that was completely mind boggling yet awesomely awe inspiring was in SAW (the original) when jigsaw gets up off the floor after being in the shithole all that time, whilst the men he had captured thought he was a dead guy who had shot himself because he was poisoned...
