:crybaby:Hey Dudes and Dudess's
Well have just come completed the Teronga Bike Safety Course, and had a blast, there.
Love the Ride to Invers, even though I find it hard to say something nice about the place. My mate Mike has a wonderful house near to the beach in a spankingly nice area (forget the name), so took one look at the campsite cabins I was due to be staying in range Mike and went:crybaby:can I stay at your place.......he was at the gym and said, "Sure, I'll just be another half an hour, so I went :angry2::crybaby: come and get me NOW
Good when you can do that to friends eh
Anyway, slept like a baby that night, as still fighting off this cramping fucking virus at the moment, which is currently lying in my feet.....for fucks sake...., whch I guess is better than last Saturday, when it was all over my body....fuck me was walking like Quazimodo, I now just walk like his sister. Any Doctors out there, can help with what the fuck has invaded my body:sherlock::doctor:
So, to the matter in hand, got to Terratonga, and there was a good 30 of us there, bikes of all shapes and sizes.....and again, I love biker people, everyone's so up for it and fun.....sigh
Got the low down on the lot, cornering, counter steering, braking (my front disc is bit wharped and fucked at the mo, so it shook at bit), but the bike pro took Tex round on a quick lap and said just dont give it 100% when you brake, otherwise you will be in thousands of shook up pieces.
But by jove.......its really helped, I scrapped my footpeg....well nearly, and looked at sky a couple of times, when I lent over, well out of my comfort zone, but heck it was fun.........
The coolest part of the day, was the braking exercise as you lined up in 2, tried to brake within the cones................yeah right:scratch:, then got to do the track with the dude you were doing the exercise, so there were only 2 on the track at that particular time.
Still held up in Invers at the mo, with my feet suspended in the air,,,,as they are fucking well killing me.......................:weep:I wana feel better.
Especially as its Off the Rails next week, and I live for jumping around, acting the goof and gadding about................................ so keep your fingers, toes and eyelashes crossed, that Woodybee rids this mother f..cker of a virus.....
So if anyone gets the chance to go on one of these courses, I highly recommend it, its heaps, I shall still be slower than all the rest of you, but gained a bit of confidence there, so thanks Brian the dude who took it and Big Thanks to Chatto Creek Motorcycle Club (who I have joined) for getting this up and running....... A top bunches of Geezer's and Geezeress's you are
Thank you from the Heart of my Bottom:niceone:
