Does anyone know of any recommended places to take a KLR to to ship to the USA? Via ocean-going container? Or some other inexpensive method?
When I brought the bike to New Zealand, it was shipped via a company that didn't box the bike or stick it on a pallet, and was pretty cheap. I'm looking for cheap.
Thanks in advance...

Isn't taking a klr to the states like taking coals to newcastle, or ugly people to the north island...

Ha, you're probably right. I'd probably make money if I sold it here (I did import it completely) and bought another of the same year over there. They are as cheap as chips in the states.
But it's, you know, my first and only bike, so it's special. One of these days I'll have an affair and my world will change but until then where I go, it goes.
Speaking of which, there's a KTM thing happening end of April in Plimmerton.
