A very timely thing (syncronicity) to have occurred on the final 2007/08 TCWNR.

Wow, I only knew Uncle B from here, (and, to be perfectly honest mainly just from your Buckbucks newbie training thread), and he seemed so wise, mature, 'grownup', and now I discover he was only a year older than me. Shocking is an overused word, but I am shocked.

To have touched so many people is a wonderful legacy.

Thank you Lucy.

Some people can enter a rooom and have an immediate presence: my wife and daughter met Uncle B just once when he came home to our place after a ride. They both remarked about his personality and general demeanour in a most remarkable way.

On behalf of my family and I, a door in life is sadly closed, but the presence remains.

It was uncanny to see those pictures taken last night, being the final ride of the season.
