You haven't been here long then? Are you maybe a little ADHD? You opened the thread at 22:33 last night when a) Most people were going to bed and b) Then got up this morning and went to work without racing to their computer to see what Nomis has posted. Since then you've posted two followups saying "watch me watch me" :rolleyes:
Nobody and I mean nobody has modified bikes like STEAM has - and he takes quality pics of them too.
p.s. The word is "their"
p.p.s. Pick up your toys and tidy up your room!
p.p.p.s. I feel better already, can't let that happen, time for another grumpy pill

Yes, but most of them aren't likely to dredge through previous posts etc. to find what they've posted, and post it again.
My list looks like this:
Satantune high-mount, with shorter 'spud' ; Heated grips with 'heatroller' ; Ventura headlight guard ; 60/55W headlight bulbs ; dual Fiamm AM80 Super horns ; Unifilter ; Modded seat cowl ; Ventura pack-rack ; CF tank guard ; drilled footpeg brackets ; Stainless steel peg feelers ; Blue Sea 5025 fusebox ; Custom stoplight flasher ; R/R fan ; 16T front sprocket ; Kitset Speedo Corrector ; PCII ; O2 sensor eliminators ; Garage door opener switch on right switchblock ; Factory Pro Evo Star shifter kit ; Blocked-off PAIR tube thingos ; Flush-mount front confirminators with CF plates ; Lead-filled footpeg (no vibes!) ; Elka 2-way shock ; Sonic 0.95 springs with Motorex 12w fork erl ; Ariete valvestems ; chromed rear wheel nuts.

Oooo That must be the 200 km/hr Hornet.
Hello I'm the dick you're too cowardly to actually take on in public.
My comment: You've spent too much money on a 250.

And yes In some people's views you a correct. But at the end of the day its my wallet and money I work and save for to spend how I like. I like streetfighter bikes and due to my licence Im stuck on a 250. I have all the stock parts and can still sell the majority of the things ive done when the time comes. All the carbon bits fit all the hornets so Im sure some one will want them.
But hey, Ill most likely use them on my next hornet when I get my licence.

My comment is: That is maintainance, not mods!
I also have a 200km/h+ honda, but its not a hornet.
Might wanna check your speedo... come to the sprints www.cliffhanger.org.nz
Thats the only way to prove for sure that it will do 200km/h.
My mods to my 212km/h bike is a 17' front wheel and floating front disks, reversed gearshift and a cycleworks can. ( the can was already on it ).
Mods for my other bike are too long to list...
The rgs are standard as per streetstock rules :)

Do a web search for Extremegraphics,there a Canadian outfit,they do them for all sorts although expensive and to top it off Canadian post charges are beyond belief.

Brakes are off a 05 busa,from memory the lines cost me $75 a pop.Maybe could have got them cheaper but went through the local Suzuki shop that do my wof so they could hardly turn me down if they supplied them.

I reckon your bike looks great and if you get a kick outta doing it then more power to you,to me anyway fucking around with bikes is just about as much fun as riding them.(almost).As for the pipes on my old thing there the original old Two Brothers cans that have been repacked many times over the years,soon to be replaced with a full system.

go into cycletreads in takapuna, they'll be able to hook you up with WOF legal braided lines at a reasonable price.

These are not really mods but part replacements.
The back torque limiter clutch in the TL1000 has a few odd features so a 2006 GSXR1000 basket and internals was fitted to the TL drive gear after a bit of machining and a few custom parts.
Some pics here

<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Clutch/In.jpg>
It is a bit taller than the TL clutch so it was lucky i had already done a billet cover in 2005....
http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Cover/?start=all
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Cover/CL9.jpg>
... to suit a modded 6 spring TL1000R clutch which had TLS and TLR parts with a titanium spider.
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Cover/SD5.jpg>
That TL has a few other things changed including 61mm Honda TB's with a modded TL1000R loom to drive the twin injectors per TB,self supporting seat...
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Fork%20Swap/86.jpg>
inverted TL1000S Ohlins rear damper...modded K6 forks,carrozzeria wheels
<img src= http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/M18.jpg>
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Fork%20Swap/DM7.jpg>
billet battery carrier using a custom threaded engine mount spacer.
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/HRG5.jpg>
custom billet rear spring unit.
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/Test6.jpg>
Shed built muffler with Yoshimura badge (spied under Colemans counter)
<img src=http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c345/manurewa/yoshimura-1.jpg>
etc etc but it will have to wait until i get back to NZ before it is finished.
I am glad somebody said some years ago,have a go yourself (at machining parts) so i had a lash.
The !@#$ up ratio has improved a little over the years.

Thanks alot mate always good to hear positive comments,
Have now had all the wire's shortened ect and the entire loom cleaned up. Looks a whole lot better now.
Have mounted the light again and is looking good and more solid.
Will be getting either some allow mounts or chromed when I have the time.
Also thinking about getting some of the alloy parts anodized gold, but if that I decide to do that all the Chrome will be going.
Next thing is to find some mirrors that are a bit different.
Cheers
for the feedback.

Have a look at the "anodised look" paint at repco.
It has to be put on properly using a special primer stuff to work but I was so surprised at how good it looked when sprayed on properly.
Could be a cheaper option than real anodising and you could even do it over mild steel...

Cheers mate, yeh may buy a can and spray and see what it comes up like first,
I have a friend who used to work for anodizing industies who should be able to help me out but i will have to see.
Cheers
for the advice. May be time to test my painting skills haha,
