Yes it takes a lot of strength and self-belief to leave someone who beats you but often those attributes have been battered out of you. But it is not all doom and gloom being with abusive men/women means that when you meet someone sweet, kind and everything you could want you really appreciate them. So I've heard :crazy: One must always look for the positive leson in the negativ event.

Compromise is a work banded round often in relationships and I really don't like hearing it. You should not have to compromise but should be in a relationship where there is mutual support, therefore, each party can do what they want knowing the have the support and understanding of the other partner.
