I'm sure someone was posting in here about setting up some 'scooter-cross' a while back?

Go to Europe and THEN tell me about the weird things you see on scooters. I'm not even gonna start with what I've seen myself.

Hell! Today I saw a scooter guy drinking a coffee while riding!

He he, at first I pictured the guy on his scooter with a real cup of coffee :). Now that would have been impressive!

Last night I rode home from the petrol station with no gloves (stuffed down the front of my jacket), whilst reading text messages on my mobile with my left hand. I think I should buy a scooter, it was tricky to change down gears for the stop sign without being able to use the clutch.

Burn me!

Eating a pie is more difficult - you need both hands and have to steer with your knees

It scares me knowing that some of you out there can still ride and drive.
The scooter rider drinking a coffee could be an inspiration to all of us.
ha

I can see someone making a cartoon strip out of that.

Riding with a chick once and she pulled out an Apple and started eating it with a full face, so it can be done, not only by females.

On a "twist and go" scooter, most things would be easy.

I've eaten McD's fries whilst on my Spada before. Put them down between my crotch and the tank. Summer gloves with thin finger-lining helped. Not hard at all, and the cop I rode past just laughed.

he bought it from our cafe in kingsland, gave me a hell of a fright when he rode off drinking it, whilst pulling a one-handed u-turn on new north road.

I often see a fellow riding the hiways drinking coffee, eating gummy snakes while all the time having a conference call on his phone, Oh and retuning the Ipod for a better selection of music, now thats mutlitasking, hmmm, now I cant remember what was steering but the cruise control was on, he might even have been rummaging around in his top box at the same time  who says only women can multi task

No ! you can eat a pie and ride with one hand and, have a coke, I took a 1986 125 "Honda Lead" for a trip from Gisborne to Hastings in a day and back again 430klm rnd trip,so didn't have much time to piss around, top speed down hill 90klm hr. Great trip to saw more of the country side than i've ever seen, than when i'am riding my sports bike.

Yeah I have seen the same thing while I was heading to Albany last year sometime, however the guy was on a GN 250 or something similar. What made me notice him was that he was holding way out to his left to (I assume) avoid the splashing of coffee over the face as the wind picked it up!! Rather funny sight, my wife had bit of a (shocked) laugh too!!
...Perhaps they are talented and we are all jealous!...

Nasty!

My 'matching helmet and gimp suite (sic)' which has hard elbow, shoulder, knee and shin protectors, will give me the best protection in a crash if I come off my 'sprot(sic) bike'.

I also have a back protector that makes me look like a turtle and boots that wouldn't look out of place on one of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. My helmet has a dark visor and that makes me look like an F-15 pilot.

A friend of mine whose Dainese 'suite(sic)' makes him look like storm trooper from 'Star Wars', recently came off his 'sprot (sic) bike' and received not one scratch or broken bone.

I'd be interested to know what type of 'suite(sic)' you wear......on your 'sprot(sic) bike'.....
