Maybe.

Just maybe.

The Universe demands its payment for your pleasure from time to time.

I've never fallen off on the Rimutakas before. I've made guys on GSXR750s cry when I've kicked their arse from Kaitoke to Featherston on my RG250.

I made an impression on a WMC mechanic on my RC30 when I followed him for a bit and then passed him and pissed off into the distance.

I made a dude on a GSXR1100 look twice when I went round the outside of him on "Jim's corner" on my ancient and derelict CBR600.

Then I treated my TRX like a Queen and like the mecurial bitches they are, my Queen bit my arse.

I am thankful that the universe saw fit not to hurt me this time.

But I WON'T, I f__king WON'T give up bikes again until I can't lever one off its sidestand. Got that, you hard arsed, miserable, son of a bitch universe? My balls are bigger than yours.

You f__ker.

Don't worry Jim2

There is an endless supply of bikes and they still make my good friend Mr Panadol...

Ya gotta tie one on now and then... It was the Vicksters turn last night.. Off to lunch with the ladies at 11am.... I dragged her home at 11:30 pm.... Fark me but those ladies can party... I dropped the others off at the only pub they had not been kicked out of within 50 km for a bit more dancin' and maybe picking up a cute looking fella.... :shit:

I thought I could party but hats off....

Paul N

What really gets my goat is that they are all 100% OK today... Eh? Whats with that? Where is all the moaning and groaning and the i'll never drink agains.. Sheesh!

Wanna know something funny?

Despite coming home and tucking into the Tamdhu, I bounced out of bed this morning at 7:30. Not even queasy.

Brilliant.

'Ears prick up' Did somebody say Tamdhu?

Hektik weakend, no riding, had fun, listened to bagpipes at Palmy, friends son came first in both of his events (march and S&R - Grade C) and now Jim2 mentions Tamdhu!!!!

Jim its all about some one reminding you that you are human and shit happens to all, but you walk away.

Now when is this bike coming back???? We ALL want to assist in the restoration, well at least some of us do.

Now back on topic - Tamdhu

Some of us don't know much about repairing bikes but we can compensate by dispensing single malts to those who do...

That's the attitude Jim, never give up on what makes you grin  .
Guess it was your bike I saw in the shop today. Unpleasant feeling seeing how good bikes can go bad. What's happening ? They had a row of late model bikes trashed in the past few days. CBR600 and a near new Firestorm and others unrecognisable. That's a lot of dissapointed owners. Hopefully they are all OK and sinking the piss like you :thud:

Lol Mark.

I couldn't get over the huge number of dinged up bikes in there! Horrible thing to say, but it does make you feel less stupid to know that other people have suffered the same (hopefully not worse!)

Start with a new CDI Dave.

Clutch Kit (about $60 I think), Oil, Filter, Plugs, Charge the battery or get a new one. New rear tyre. Clean carbs. Fabricate brackets to connect side panels to frame (no fairing lowers). That's it.

Then Re-VIN.

Why not just buy this instead (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Sports-tourer/auction-19921889.htm) for a cheap runner?

I still reckon the CDI's fukt. :mellow:TSS tested it and it's fine. The plugs are drowned though (wonder how that could have happened).

hmmm. strange. At least we know the petrol's getting through the carbies though... :killingme

should be an easy fix then. Just need to get those bloody carbies off.

I have an impact driver.

And a crowbar...

Your fav wrecker has some preloved tyres in 140 or 150 size Battlax or a few options ~ $80, I can interface easily to procure them.

Have compressor etc & know my way around carbs. Possibly the fuel tap leaks & floods the carbs which floods the cylinders, fouls the plugs etc.
