from the few episodes i have watched the yellow team also would be deserving winners ... & with all the kids & another on the way realistically they may not be able to afford their home ...
both teams are deserving to win .. good luck to them both
Yeah the yellow team will win easily. 6 kids! maybe a prize from durex would help!!!
The chick on the blue team is a right bitch. Painful to watch.

I reckon the Production Team will choose the winner irrelevant of what people vote, and based on the Judges Views, the Yellow Team have won more rooms so in tunr are likely to win the House.

Dose this mean there will be a season of MR 10 dream home that will not be complete and utter bullshit?

Yellow team, couldn't find a more deserving couple, they would do anything for you.Amazing the amount of family help they got, even people coming from Putararu came down to help.
The blue team if they lose can blame their decorator and the fact that they can't organise anything.Hell how many times did they have stuff ups with the paint.Last week was classic, noone could decide where the sand pit should go,blue lady wanted it out in front of deck, typical of her ideas.
Both builders' were pretty good, but Ken in yellow is a no panic type, cuts it fine but no panic and the yellows just got on with it.
My big piss off was with the judges, shit they were up themselves.
The way the programme is made makes for the ratings.
Be a laugh if the winner of lotto came down tonight and placed a bid on both homes at auction and outbid all people.Should be ok as it is a binding auction after all, highest bid wins, unless they stuff it up like Whangerei when they halted the auction midway.
This year I feal the loser (usually gets the house at auction)may very well miss out altogether,as they auction first both homes then winner announced.
Sad there has to be a loser, huge amount of respect to all involved by me.

I've suspected for many a year that that show has been rigged from the beginning.

Yeah me too Mully, but as an insider ill let you know that being the loser is still one hell of a win in gaining a fully furnished house at a bargain price.

Course it has,how can they explain the "auction" process when they stop midway so they can top up losers' funds as in Whangarei.
Interesting tonight they gave the valuations, and did auction but had to miraculously stop at both teams maximum amount of credit,i.e $310k and $250k,then when home was won,the losers got to bid as reserve was met, funny how no bids then.Wonder who set reserve,mitre10 or tvnz?
Good to see yellow win, have a mate who is there,he's step brother to one of them.Is sad to have a loser(mortgage)but if blues had a better designer, and didn't have petty issues to put up with on their build crew would have made a difference.

It is. I know the sparky that did all of the wiring in both houses in whakatane.

Yep not bad for $240k mortgage,as mitre10 gave them both 70k,used to live next to the sections 30 yrs ago,we had 2 acres next door, and the property the houses were on was my uncles till he sold it.
Mind you it is 300mts from the Richmond meat works, can be a bit smelly when wind blows up the road, not often happens though, but the road comes down a small T intersection with works carpark and stock truck drop-off point.Gets a bit busy at times, only 10 mins walk to town though.
