I think there were rumours floating about NZ getting the WSB round at Hampton Downs,:headbang:
Well, according to Waikato Mayor Peter Harris, it has been secured for minimum of 3yrs starting the week after Phillip Isld Feb, 2010.
Hope this isn't a repost, as a search showed nothing.

It's financially cheaper for US racing to head sth, than to consider Europe.
