View Full Version : How come women car drivers have the right not to look right?
the legend
10th April 2008, 16:51
Ok so I was just wondering how it is that women got the right to not look right when at a stop intersection. and how come motorbikes have to pull stoppies to account for this because obviously u don’t if your a car women driver have to give way when pulling out you can just do it and everything will stop for u
so I just got my new motorbike right.... 2005 cbr600rr really fast really nice.... no insurance because i'm a restricted drive not full untill the 24th.... and I driving along a road.. And for some reason a car driver no less a women car driver pulled out after only looking left....not even a squint right until she was like in both the lanes..... She than looked right to see my bike on one wheel heading for the back of her car,..... Being the more intelligent species of humans she decided it would be best to stop there because I mean that is what you do anyhow when someone is heading for your car..... meanwhile I’m thanking the Honda designers that made brakes work so well thinking What the hell is this lady doing lucky I never hit her because never would of got insurance while i’m not licensed........................ so like how come she does not have to look right..... Does that mean I can give her car a good firm boot in the back of the door to leave it with a character mark of certified non right looker
Wtf is it with car drivers that make them such useless assholes

UUmm.. no! :oi-grr: If your bike was parked up.. where it should be.. you wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place.. :spanking:
The driver is obviously a plonker.. & she will learn the hard way one day.. either causing injury/death to either herself.. or some other poor innocent. :argh:
However.. You are BOTH in the wrong! :ar15: :thud:

If you ride as well as you express yourself, expect to have many more interesting times on a bike.
Ummmm. What is an asshole?

Tell me you have never driven a car?
Its not the fact they drive a car, its the person behind the wheel.
I've met a lot of bad drivers male and female. And also some hard to distinguish for either.
I have made bad decisions and mistakes both in cars and on bikes.
I think 'cage' is a stupid term also. Makes people feel cool when they spout it ten times in a sentence (even though they likely drive one, will or have).

Could have been. He/sh/it had a moe. Been out in the sun a bit long by the looks of it, if you know what I mean.
Quite proud of the restraint I had in not bashing off the mirror or denting the car.
Oh, and has anyone mentioned Honda riders are ghey yet?

Its not the fact they drive a car, its the person behind the wheel.
However, the safety factor of a car does seem to lull people in to a false sense of security. A bike is less forgiving to it's controller if things go pear-shaped.

I drive a car semi regularly and, while I enjoy having it for practicality an being able to talk to the wife, it is a cage (at the very least it's a Faraday cage).

You have to look right at intersections?
Shit I thought it was "first in - first served"! or "Im gettin in there before you, and you didnt know it was a race did you"?
Thats the special driving practice I learnt in Tauranga...sometimes feels like Im driving that big intersection in Europe the one where nobody's car is insured. Crazy Business.

p.s. Bonez the reason you have been excluded from knitting circles is that you can't spell purl. (Just thought it might ease your pain to know the real reason).

Mate! I have been in a head-on collision with a drunk driver, and he was a male!!!!! A male loser at that, who almost killed himself and wrote off both of our vehicles. So whether female or male, drivers will be drivers and in my long history of commercial driving I have seen evidence of both sexes being guilty of all sorts of dangerous and illegal driving.
Get a clue!

No no no. You're going about your mass generalisations all wrong. You've had an accident with a drunk male. The original poster reckons women are to blame.
The problems obvious. It's those f'ing homo sapiens behind the wheel. Ban every one of them I say.

so just to recap on this thread as it is drifting a bit:
post 1 - illegal uninsured rider unhappy at something done by someone else. Blames all women.
theme 1 - all riders and car drivers are idiots, except those that aren't
theme 2 - PB sounds like fun at the beach
theme 3 - all sad Hitcher did not come to pick on the grammar. Instead Hitcher picked on.
In narrator's American syrupy summation style "I guess we all learned something valuable about people today. Whether you are legal on the road, can or can't spell or punctuate, are male or female, ride a motorbike or drive a cage, we are all KBs glorious creatures ... and there is a place for all of us to get on together. Its called the road."

I understood it perfectly, but to put it in youf for all you old cunts....
A female driver was pulling out of a street, she did not check to her right before pulling out. I was coming from her right. Then i was like t3h gahrrr z0 my g0ds. I had no insurance so was pulling a nose wheelie trying to stop or else my bike would be broken. I was thinking in my helmet. Z0 my gawds crazy h0. Then instead of continuing on when she saw me she panicked and stopped. I w4s like t4h z0myg0ds againz and stopzd in tym.
This has made me realise what every other motorcyclist did on thier first day on the roads, t3h c4r driv00rs r t3h n00b4g3
