Oi Dudes and Dudess's

Thought I'd give you the heads up going to be heading up to the North Island on my trusty stead for a bit of a tour after the Nelson rally, and thought it would be fab fun to catch as many of you as I can on route.

Going to heading towards Bay of Plenty, so interested on where everyone is for a bit of a get together during the time I travelling up there, for beers and chats in the evenings, etc.,

I nkow its a long way out, but its get to dream away the prospect of winter eh.:cold:

So let us know the best routes (want to go the East Coast), and whats good to see.
:scooter:

Got another log going on this, its called the Free Spirit, South to North Tour, so lets get our butts goether and have a line up of good dudes on bikes gather along the route eh?:niceone::msn-wink::woohoo::Punk:

Coi for now.........

No doubt you'll pass through Wellington on the way up so make sure you overnight so we can catch up with you.

How much time you got? Best way to Bay of Plenty is probably over the Rimutakas from Wellington, then take as many back roads as you can going to places like Martinborough, Masterton, Alfredton, Pongaroa, Porangahau, Elsthorpe, Havelock North, Napier, Wairoa, Opoutama & Mahia (worth a look but dead end unless you are OK on gravel - so retrace back to Nuhaka), Gisborne then around East Coast, make sure you check out the Cape itself and Ruatoria (both dead end, need to return back to main highway), check out Tolaga Bay and the wharf, same with Tokomaru Bay and Hicks Bay. If you stay at Hicks Bay there are some gloworms out the back of the motel free to see. Then you'll just keep on going to Opotiki, Whakatane etc and on to wherever you are going in Bay of Plenty.
