The Melon and I were riding up Kent tec and I tried to past this dude in a car, and just as I got up to his side mirror he swerved at me and hit me. I just about smashed into a parked car, I pulled over and stopped, the dude was right behind me. He got out of the car. 6ft + angry maori dude, looked like a sack of doorknobs. Looking very pissed off.
I walked up to him and asked him what the hell he did that for? I think he was taken back cause I was a chick. This guy was trying to pick a fight with Melon, seriously his guy was trying hard to have a fight with him.
His excuse (feable one at that) cause I shouldn't have done it.
He was hard-out nutting off at this smashed mirror, so I told him that I would pay for it..
Too bad I gave him the wrong name, address and numberplate..
Good thing I got his...
:innocent: I plan to seek my revenge :D

I seriously, absolutely, totally fucking hate the agressive, in your face, "fighting is the only solution", "I'm gonna step you out", "whatchu staring at" pricks who roam this fucking country. There are some people that get their backs up if you look at them. How the fuck can looking at someone be construed as an agressive act.
This country would do a whole lot better without the lot of agressive ****'s.
I suppose it's good that you weren't hurt, or worse. I hope this guy gets convicted for drink driving, while speeding, looses his licence and job, family and house...
Low-life, inbred scum!
(whew, that felt good :doobey: ) All it takes is for one nut to think I'm looking at him funny, come over and push my bike over (it'd be practically impossible to stop someone doing that, especially someone who is naturally 7'6") Then you're left with damaged bike, insurance worries, while the guys rusty, beat up ute has another biker dent on the hood.

There is a lot of serious mental illness that goes untreated in NZ. Perhaps banning Rugby for a couple of generations might calm a lot of this shit down.

I thought getting out of the way would be swerving away rather than into someone. I *555'd him when I got home, but didn't hear any more about it. Should really post his numberplate up here so people know to look out for him and make a formal complaint to the cops, cos that shit just isn't on.

Seriousley call the coppers he could end up in court and probably have to spend heaps of cash, especially if you have a witness.

There is heaps of serious mental illness that floats around NZ these day. But all that happens is the cuplrit gets taken to the side, given "Help" and some special pills, gets told to take his pills and have a nice day.
Kind of says something for those wankers out there who just have an edge on there shoulder for no real reason. Dont you wish you just had a large old Chev truck or something and swerve into him. But I wouldnt stop to chat, just throw a note out the window saying "You toucha my bike, I fucka wit yor cario". Although that might be a bad idea. :Playnice:
Lou, if we ban rugby, what other sport will we sit down and watch on TV? I kow, national sheep dog trails, or write to TV NZ, get their arse into gear and tell them to start running a motorcycle awareness ad or something. Hey, thats an idea?? :ride:

All that concern about his silly mirrors... rather than the fact that he hit you...
What what he would have done if you had fallen off....
If like he says he was trying to miss you... then he would have gone the other way.... this was a deliberate act of road rage.... time he got taken to the cleaners by the courts and the police....
Did you go into the cop shop and file a report of the incident....if not, then the police won't do a thing.... so head down to the cop shop straight away and file a claim against this pratt.... :brick:
I am pleased that you are ok.... and that there is no damage to your bike...

In this situation, you need a good set of knee sliders!
This guy pulled out and hit me a couple of years back. I fell between my bike and the car, managed to keep bike upright, and dragged my knee slider all the way down the side of the car! Then took his mirror off with my shoulder.
No damage to bike what so ever, but the car was Fucked! Side panels were ALL dented and scratched, And mirror was on the ground! (one with indicator in it)
You see... :niceone:
If you have knee sliders, you can cause ALOT of damage, without hurting yourself!

This is the fucking limit. Been a long day at work and just been christmas shopping at botany. Going home along the road been doing some lane splitting cause i'm running a bit late. No cars in front of me for ages. Keep going for a while (IN A 70K ZONE). There is a car in front of me only doing like 55 and this guy coming up on the right (2 lanes) so i think hey i'll let the guy go past me and then tuck in behind. So he goes passed me and as i tuck in he brakes and slows to match the cars speed next to him which is a bout 50. So i look to go up the middle and as i do he swerves not only towards me but the other car as well. Dickhead passanger sticks his head out the window and looks at me (bunch of young guys). So they stop at the lights and i go from 70 down to 0 within the a bit longer than the length of thier car right next to them so i am sitting at the front of the lights. Comtemplated letting hem have it / wing mirror removal but i was tired and late and didn't want to have to deal so i just took off. DICKS.Next time i won't be so forgiving.
