The oil cooler up front tends to throw people off, since it looks like a miniature water radiator, but no, the GSX750's engine (like my GSX1400's) is cooled solely by airflow over its surface and heat transfer from the oil as it flows through the oil cooler.
I've always loved the big aircooled Suzuki fours; they're just so silky-smooth and utterly bulletproof.
Such engines have to be designed and built to greater tolerances than water-cooled ones, since they have a greater operating temperature range and therefore their components expand and contract a lot more. That has the side effects of giving you an engine that makes less power for its displacement, but which is also under-stressed and enormously reliable.
Not to mention the reliability benefits which accrue from eliminating the separate liquid cooling system - one less thing to go wrong, and cooling systems do love to go wrong, with split hoses, holed radiators and cracks letting high-pressure hot liquid squirt into places it shouldn't be.
Congratulations on your new teapot!

It is .. but I am not too short myself .. I think the height is around 790mm ... at my reasonable 173cm its perfect!

The seat is nearly 8 metres off the ground???!!! Did it come with a ladder or a cherry picker to get on??

Way to go chick. My cousin bought one several months ago and it was a wizz to ride. Like an electric bike powerwise, and so stable but still responsive to input. I was very impressed with it, especially taking the cost of the bloody thing fresh off the floor into account.

Welcome to the dark side.Nice bike for the $$$,people say it's old technology, but air/oil cooled as stated is another word for reliable.
Bit of an expensive repair that starter switch, new bike was cheaper?
Think the waitress's brain was left at Sanson,ya didn't find it on way back from Hawera did ya?Think her sister was working last week,we were amongst 5 people late saturday or sunday arvo, each time I went to the bar she asked what beer in my handle, shit she only had 2 guys buying beer and we both were on tui.

Chickadee has a red one just like that. We tried to sell/swap for a small twin last month but couldn't get a swap/enough money for a decent little twin.
As has been said before - they are underrated for some odd reason - it's got enough power to get you into trouble and is a nice long distance bike. I wasn't blown away by the handling but then I normally ride a lightweight, short wheelbase bike the rest of the time.
A very nice bike indeed - good choice.

Going the new katana/GSX way rather than bandit?
So much choice is difficult, even when you have a budget,I have no idea what I'd buy with $13000 max,ya think yep a run out model or a late model bike,oh the choices. Then ya spy say a duc st,or triumph sports, then see the new katana/gsx,sv or vt twins.Have a mate with a new c50 and he likes it two up,and price was great. The second hand market makes it tricky at times with run outs and 1 yr old bikes close in price.

Looked pretty nice to me yesterday. I had an '89 model and traded it with 66,000k's (bike shop couldn't fault motor when traded) on it so you should be good to go for a while...
