Hi guyz,
Found an efe in Oz, anyone got any advice on importing it to nz?, any likely problems, costs etc.?
Anything greatly appreciated.

BettiGive it a good thrashing with a stick to make sure there's no spiders, snakes or Orstrylyans hiding in it?
Marinade it with a good Kiwi beer/wine?
Hard to say, really.
Errr.... I haven't a clue what an effing efe is...:disapint:

i think he is talking about an early model suzuki the gsx sorta ones they are know as efe models i think, we call them the Katana's

I really need to be more clear dont i really!!
the suzuki gsx1100efe, was around after the katanas were originally about, 83 til 87!.
Alot of top tips tho , especially the beatin it with stix :laugh:
You guys should really get your own tv show!.
Lookin forward to more pisstakin in future, keep it up!

Is the 'efe' model the power screen one?, or was that just the F model?, can't remember.

Betti. You have to explain a bit more some of the bikes are a bit before my time. but I should know because i work at a motorcycle wrecker!

You could try Dave who brings bikes over for holidaying aussies. If you strike it lucky he may have a container coming over in the near future.

Think Dave used to have one when he lived in en-zed. Tell him David sez he's a goat molester.
Other than that you will have to search sites about importing vehicles, LTSA probably have a link. If you are just after parts would be better to import it that way rather than a whole going bike.
And how young are the rest of youse guys? The efe was the archetypal Suzuki superbike of the era. A million kilos with a thousand horsepower all resting on the grace of a tiny 16” front wheel.
Hiscock & Holden won the 6 hour on one I believe while the GPZ900s were puking their coolant.

Thats the one, and dont forget the 1135 efe by Macintosh.... used to watch that bike on one wheel all the way down Carlyle st in Chch when there was the st races.
