You have my backing and that of my flatmate of 5 years fulltime martial arts training to do some head bashing.

Let us know if you need a hand when you find them.

Serious offer.

Please tell me you took the pics straight down to the local cop shop for dusting.

Totally Agree - I'd call TV3 and see if they'd be keen on picking up your story. I'd say, you'd probably be in luck.

Maybe their intention wasn't to be cruel, they might like him so much they don't want to give him back (which is cruel/selfish) but sent you the letter to let you know he's ok rather than leave you worrying.

did someone actually steal him, or did you let him wander free and one day he didn't come back?

That's terrible! What an awful situation to be in.

Some ppl are so selfish they don't think through how it must be for the owners of a pet they've taken a liking to - we had a similar situation with a friendly little cat in our neighbourhood, it wore a collar and some dip-sh*ts who were visiting their friends took it home cos they assumed it was lost/abandonned! The owner got it back thankfully, so I hope you have a similar outcome.

Have you thought about contacting the local SPCA? They may be able to come up with some suggestions for what you can do. I own a dog and would be devastated in this situation. Keep us informed.

Dont let this rest mate. Scum like this need to learn. How awful for you to lose your dog and go through the whole process of trying to find him and then accepting he was gone, only to have a some low life let you know they have the dog!

FAR CANAL!!! Police will take this one on, what do they say?

I can... some people have an amazing gall and cheak, last yeah one of Rashika's prize moggies (seal Burmese) had been missing but popped in every now and again for four odd months.
Well a for sale sign went up on her property and in a few days she recieved a fancy card in the mail saying "if you dont want your cat when you move we will keep him' FUCK ME BLEADING PINK Rashika had been beside her self worring bout the flee bag known as Mertz.
This riped me shorts so I rang the number found out where they lived then ripped shit out of them... ya feed and bed an animal of course the bloody thing will hang around.
I went down to this house (4 doors down) nailed a piece of ply over the cat door (after seeing the black bastard mertz in the house and hauled his sorry arse out) Christ sakes these people knew where the cat lived all this time and assumed he wasnt wanted.

So dude... keep an eye out ya dog may not be far away.

Only if their prints are already recorded, but worth a crack, as they will be retained and when they eventually get taken, this would bite them back...

...left a bottle of gingerbeer in the cupholder when i suggested she could check for prints she laughed i dont mean anything bad to her or the police i just dont think they have any intrest in finding things

Lazy bitch... Hasn't she heard of fingerprinting and DNA?????????????
