Ok don't whine about the choices, just take your pick, which of these, saying theyr'e all worth the same amount of $, would you choose if you could have it for free and ya had to keep it? Oh ya and it's from the 2008 range.....

I looked pretty good when I went past you on the back wheel last week. And when I cut you up through the infield sweeper. And when I was outbraking you into the hairpin. It ain't easy being a poser, but I make it look easy.

I can't recall you outbraking me into the hairpin... But as for the other stuff, yeah I have to give you that. 6 years of improved technology, 250 ccm and "creative weight savings" ought to give you an edge :p

Next time I won't be carrying that extra weight from that pesky sidestand and things are likely to be different  ...or maybe not, I'd rather err on the better side of caution for a while yet.

As for making it look easy - yes, you do :niceone: (But take a look at that front wheel - straight? I don't think so )

See the trick is only pick on those that can't do you no harm...

No, the trick is to only pick on those that know you mean them no harm ;)

So hang on you are asking me to tick a box of sumthing ive been uming and aring about since the start of 07? i am kawasaki loyal but the new zx6r is to girly looking for me. the looks do matter. i spose i would have one in black.

but cblack shows scratches swirls etc too easy...arg lol...

nope cant decide sorry. i'm testriding em all then im gunna buy which one suits me best.

the triumph and the gsxr are instatly out though...

triumph nz are useless service...

gsxr nope i cant trust the model of bike all my friends have died on.

so leaves it between zx6r r6 and cbr600.

as much as i love to put down hondas i admit they are quite nice, but hang on doesnt the 08 have the hideous bullnose on it?

hmmm so down to zx6r and r6....

jesus

what a decision.

on looks i say r6, my heart says kawasaki as they are what i have mostly ridden (i've owned 4 kawasaki's) i do love the kawasakis to ride, the 07 r6 i sat on did have a nice riding position too, even to sit on totally different feel to the zx6r....

Nope just can't do it i would have to ride both.

If i could have a zx6r that looked like an 06/07 zx10r then yep zx6r, but the girly looking headlights are a major put off. wahhhh

why did they have to get it wronggg.

skidMark
16th April 2008, 01:42

mmm nice, the cbr125 looked alright in pictures too, until i saw it brand new at botany honda right next to a used fxr150 suzuki... then noticed the cbr125was only 2/3rd's the width of the fxr150

ewwwww

its interesting how the voting has actually gone, I watched a field test (video) on all the bikes, and the Honda unanimously came up trumps as the best bike all round, then most votes for second was Triumph, so not unanimous) 4th again just highest votes was the Suzuki, 5th was the R6 then last was the Kwaka, I think yous are all voting on looks!

Usarka
16th April 2008, 12:08
or voting on the extra 75cc....

the honda is looking the winner in most of the magazine tests etc, but end of the day any of these bikes are going to be better than most of us so its more a case of get what suits you personally.

or what gets the horn goin :devil2:

jim.cox
16th April 2008, 12:26

Yup - the Trumpet does that for me - and others apparently.

I wonder if these figures will be reflected directly in sales

16th April 2008, 15:10
for me, I don't go for anything with an R in it, have had my fill of Suzuki bikes, my ex had a Yamahaha that kept breaking down, and I have always liked Triumphs - glad to see others vote the Daytona tops.

16th April 2008, 15:25
Well since only one of those bikes actually does anything in the bottom half of the rev range and is therefore of any use whatsoever on the road. It has to be the Triumph.

16th April 2008, 16:09
Gixer. Easy choice. The 675 is neat, but is it reliable? The Honda is neat, but unthrilling. The R6 works well, on a race track....

The truth is that ALL those bikes are amazing choices. You cant really go wrong. The 600 class is just that close these days. Just choose which one tugs your heart the most and you will be happy.

My ride is a 2007 R-6 and I love the thing........
