I'll *try* and be there.
May be a good idea to add this to the KB calendar?

The Wairarapa Ulysses Club arrived at Maidstone Park at 12.30, waiting for a 1 pm departure. Too bad I did not read this KB thread since our organiser got the time wrong. There were about 14 bikes in our group. Went to Free Ambulance HQ and our guy finally decided he got the time wrong, so we went to top of Mt Vic. Great weather and a good ride even though we missed the Ambuland Run. Never saw so much traffic on the Rimutakas, bikes and cars everywhere.

Many thanks to those that turned up, I counted 50 bikes just prior to departure.
I didn't get many pix as I rode TEC and picked up the pillion from a dead V-max at the top of the Ngauranga gorge, while the rider got it sorted, then had to get fuel for a stranded Vulcan at the bottom of the gorge after he went to switch to reserve....only to find it was already there.
Good cause though aand from there, Nanny Ann and I pootled off to Tokaanu for a good soak in a hot pool. Great weekend.

I felt bad for him, I would have stopped, but as I was almost on empty myself so couldn't spare any fuel :(
