Get the url out of the address when you're at youtube then wrap the tags around it

[youtube<blah>]http://www.youtube.com/address/here[/youtube<blah>]

Click on the youtube logo (top right above text box) when creating post

Paste the numbers and letters from the end of the youtube url (after the =)

eg:
youtube url = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMgR-jGoSXQ

paste HMgR-jGoSXQ between the youtube tags

Quasi... step by step

1) put (YOUTUBE) and (/YOUTUBE) placeholders in (except with square instead of round brackets
2) In the URL of the video you want to paste you'll find "v=" followed by 10 or so characters (eg "Ea36hYuTrGA")
3) put those chars between the YOUTUBE placeholders in the page
4) Post message

the final form looks like this
(YOUTUBE)Ea36hYuTrGA(/YOUTUBE)

Except square brackets
