How do I quote someones post, but in a different thread?

Quote the post you want. Highlight and copy the text, including the quote tags. Paste the text into the reply box for the thread you want to post in. Add what you want to the post. Hit submit.

There is a more elegant way...
Choose "MULTI" in the lower right-hand corner for the post(s) you want to quote.
Go into the thread in which you want to quote the post(s). Click the "REPLY" button in the lower left corner of the thread - or just press "QUOTE" on any post in the thread.
Below the text window on the "Reply to Thread" screen there will be a small message stating that you have selected X posts in other threads. You can then either select to quote them where you are, deselect them or do nothing (keep them selected, without quoting them).
