Hi Dudes and Dudess's

I know i am not the only POM to live over here, so to the POM's among us, did you hear the news today.

Martin Johnson has been appointed Team Manager (oh God I love that man).
Ashton remains to be the coach, but I reckon with Johnson as Manager, by fuck we, ENGLAND are going to do it again in 2011. I really believe that.....so All Blacks beware, don't get your face's rubbed in it again.

I will always support England, but my heart was with NZ and the All Blacks last year.

However, the sadistic side of me, knowing how it would have effected my Ex Boyfriend, ( who was a complete and Utter Wanker incidentally) silently clapped a little when the guys got thumped by France, buy 85% of me felt absolutely hollowed out by their failure.

Johnson to me, epitomises what Rugby is all about, he is a giant of a man, looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp, has phenominal leadership skills, is tough and boy he made me cry back in 2004, when his grittiness and drive and determination helped England lift the World Cup, was dancing on a table in Birmingham and Laughing and Crying at the same time.

I really wish the All Blacks had done it last year, folk are still feeling let down, and from personal experience a win like we had, which the All Blacks should have delivered made England Shine and bond together as a nation and the knock effect of that when on and on and on.

I reckon that why England have the 2012 Olympics.

Man, I don't know where I am going to be living then, but as sure as Eggs is Eggs, my arse will be in the UK for a month and a half to watch that spectacular and awesome event in London.

Fuck I love sport as much as Motorbikes....................

Queenstown has a new pool and I shall try and organise Under Water Hockey there, when I lived in Dunedin I played it (badly) down there and loved it, not bad for someone who hates the water and didn't learn to swim until I got to 30 eh!!

Anyway, thought I would share that delightful news with fellow UK'ers....got a buzz in my tummy when I heard that news.....OOOO Goliath takes the England Rugby to new Dizzy Heights.
:niceone:

Have a Fantastic Friday and Weekend All

Coi for now

What I'm going to enjoy, is watching the Kiwi media tie themselves in knots trying to simultaneously slag off England rugby and grovel at the feet of "The Ferengi", who a) is a good, hard bastard in the old style b)has a Kiwi wife (like the best POMs :msn-wink:) and c) played U21 for NZ...

Yeah, good news, more a neandethol than a ferengi but what an inspiration.

Heres hoping eh. Loved the world cup and I'm not a big rugby fan,I too was gutted when the all blacks faltered but thats sport I supose.

A little something that makes the hackles on my neck tingle.

Shit it's only a game, yep we lost got, over it ages ago.He will really inspire the team, but a comment I keep hearing is the all blacks are like say Brazil,Argentina in soccer, consistently in top 2 in world, but may not win the world cup each time, although both of those teams have won more than once lol.

With the report out after months of waiting and expense,it was simple, the team thought by scoring tries we'd win easily.Just that the team forgot that 3 points is better than trying for 7 at the end. Also with 70% of possession we should have won,and would have most other times.

Typical that the so called experienced heads couldn't think of another plan. The ref is a piss poor excuse, yep it didn't help but there was an air of arrogance way before the start. Not so much the forward pass, but at the end when the all blacks were given advantage,McAlister went for the drop kick expecting the penalty to be given due to no advantage, ref decided advantage ended, game over.We had heaps of time to drop kick the victory.

The above would be a summary of the game and wouldn't cost heaps,no mamby pamby we was robbed bullshit by the refs' call.
