A survey run by bike sales website fish4bikes.co.uk reports the most popular bike is the Harley Davidson V-Rod.
The survey also showed that people in Southampton and London were most likely to have bikes, but residents of Reading were least likely to ride.
The top 10 bikes, according to the survey are:
1. Harley-Davidson V-Rod
2. Honda CBR
3. Suzuki GSX-R
4. Aprilla RS
5. Yamaha YZF
6. Honda CB
7. Suzuki GSF
8. Suzuki SV
9. Honda VFR
10.Kawasaki ZXR
However, compare these to the top selling bikes in the UK at the end of 2007*:
Suzuki GSXR 1000 2,196
Yamaha YZF R1 2,106
Yamaha YZF R6 1,984
Suzuki GSXR 750 1,963
Honda CBR 1000 RR 1,918
Suzuki GSXR 600 1,751
Kawasaki ZX6 R 1,611
Honda CBR 600 RR 1,406
Suzuki SV 650 S 1,265
BMW R 1200 GS 1,235
And the V-Rod is nowhere to be seen.
