Anybody got any thoughts on the SRV 250 twin V. Like the old style, the sound and the torque but unsure how popular for parts. Bit of vibration but it is the first 250 I've riden. My YB125 is single cylinder and less vibration. Is it normal to some vibration, I suppose? The dealer guy says the bit of oxidation on the motor and around the wheels can easily be shined up and improved?
Considering buying it. Anybody out there got any pointers for me.

edit: yeah I think if you sit down with some rags and pot of fine polishing compound, it might come up real nice. Better still, get a proper polishing wheel for your variable speed electric drill and watch it turn to gold - it will look so good you might even make money on it when its time to sell.

any v twin will vibrate, so don't worry about that... parts are another issue though

Don't know what you mean by vibration -- they're smooth as! Just the tiniest thrum through the tank to let you know there's an engine between your legs.
Best 250 evar. Epic motorcycle. Just put it on a diet.
