Some advice please from those in the know.
I have recently decided it's time to get back on two wheels and have been bitten by the Triumph Speedmaster.
I recently sat on one at AMPS and it felt very comfortable on the shop floor.
But I have a question.
At 6"3", I am slightly concerned that on extended rides the Speedmaster might become a bit small and uncomfortable.
Has anyone of a similar size had any experiences of this?
Also, the black Kawasaki Mean Streak has also caught my eye.
Any comments on these?

I would go for the mean streak myself for the comfort but best to take each for a ride

Two completly didferent bikes, I have had experience with both with my mun owning a speedmaster, and the oldman a meanstreak.
The speedmaster is a great bike that handles buetifully (for a cruiser that is) but the 900cc carbed twin seems to be a little underpowered when comparing it to bikes of the simular cc range, dont get me wrong it has plenty of power, but the best way to discribe it is that it really lacks the punch that is needed to pull out and pass with ease.
The meanstreak is another great bike. my old mans had a full muzzy exhust system, K&N, and a power comander and really got up and went for what is a big large capacity V twin. The only down side to the bike and the reason we convinsed my old man to sell was that the suffer from a lack of ground clearance (the Muzzy exhuast didnt help the situation either), and given the way he was riding the bike, and that his mates were riding bikes (mainly sports tourers) with much beter ground cleance for him to keep up in the corners ther was nothing left if somthing went wrong.
Other things to consider is that the speedmaster 9is a chain drive and the meanstreak is shaft, and the meanstreak can be a bit of an issue to get tyres for at times as the front is a bit of a odd size, and if you are looking new it may be worth waiting and seeing how the new injected speedmaster goes.
Having riden both I would have the meanstreak

So what was the brand of tyre that you found to fit the front?
