Well, I finally had th eopportunity to pop over the Hill to Masterton, to have a look round Masterton Motorcycles and thier Guzzi's something I had been hoping to do for a while. Drive up to see large Closing Down sign on the window, Oh well, might be doing some good deals on the bikes. Floor basically empty bar a few Chinese PW80 copies, scooters. Only Guzzi is a 160 Stornello circa 1970? So another dealer gone, No Guzzi main dealer within a reasonable distance, most disappointing.

I for one hope so, it would be interesting if someone had an idea who/where it was going to be.

Masterton Motorcycles had more stock of their marquee brand and demo models than do some new franchise dealers in Wellington. Not just Guzzis but also Kawasakis. Tragic.

You'd have to be trying really hard to go out of the motorcycle business right now. The best trading conditions for 30 years (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showpost.php?p=1513772&postcount=3) and people are closing?

That is sad news actually, they gave the impression of being a stronger dealer too! Shame, John.

I wouldn't like to be making a living selling Moto Guzzis.

The national market might be 30 a year and Kawasaki is the smallest volume of the Jap 4.
