Not in the market for either units Shaun.
But may I suggest getting a deposit off clients prior to ordering in components.
I know how it feels. (one of the reasons I stopped trading in goods to joe public).
Will catch up with ya sometime. Honest:cool:

To the Oily Wankstains that ordered these shocks then backed out on owning them. You're tossers. We get so much abuse from customers when we insist on deposits...and the reason we do so? Dickheads like yourselves.

You ordered them...you OWN them regardless of your 'new' circumstances.

hahahaha, I kind of suggested that to one of them, but he said he cancelled the order with me, 1 week after he first made it! A Bit hard for me to erase my email order for him and get my cash back, but that is life in the buisness feild I guess.

No worries I guess, they will sell

No matter. He/she still ordered it. It's THEM that should now be trying to sell them to recuperate their money. Not you.

And now, you'll probably ask someone (maybe someone you know well) for a deposit, and they'll get all pissy. At the VERY least these faceless wankers should pay YOU the difference between what they should've sold for...and what you HAVE to sell them for now!

Well I'm riding down to New Plymouth on Thursday to have Shaun fit the new Penske unit to the Blackbird - should be a good shakedown trip back to Coromandel! Will give a full report when I get back. Really looking forward to both the trip and the new unit.:

I am prepared to sell these units to a buyer, who will pay me 50% deposit, and the rest in weekly installments for 4 weeks, to free up a bit more cash flow, to purchase more stock.

I was just going to ask about one for my blackbird as its hard to find a bolt on aftermarket one for blackbirds.
love to know how you go with yours.

Yep, no worries. Should have a really good idea of how it performs on the haul from NP to Coro! My OEM shock has done 65000km and is getting a bit tired, not that it was flash in the first place! I'll worry about re-springing the front end a bit later.

have you got a ride height spacer in at the moment?
are you leaving that in?

Have the 6mm spacer in at present but Shaun is going to measure the ride height and as the Penske is fully adjustable, I won't need the spacer any more. Currently, the Avon Storm just kisses the ground on the centrestand with the ride height spacer in.
