Ok just got a fz750 motor to do up.
Now im confused. The manual says to subtract the number fron the end of the crankshaft from the coresponding number on the rear of the motor housing. The numbers from the housing are 64446
minus the coresponding number on the crank 32122
should give the numbers of 32324
these numbers should give the new bearing number and colour for each bearing reading from left to right.
now the bearings that are in it all seam to be number 5's can anyone shed some light on this.
this crank was a lower milage than the one in my bike and was going to put it in the other motor when i do it up but am worried about the numbers:done:

Gidday,
Why not just mic the crank up & choose the appropriate shell thickness from there... ?

Cheers
