I don't know if this qualifies as "advertising" and if so whether I'll be deep in doo-doo for this but I just thought I'd mention, for the sake of anyone interested: Papakura Theatre Company are doing Les Mis next month (runs for first 3 weeks of May). Yours truly is one of the key board players for the show. Please feel free to pm me if you want any details regarding dates, where to get tickets etc.
Thanks. Really hope I'm not in the dog box for posting this

Woot woot! Gawd, I remember playing the bass parts (on a double bass with pickups) over and over again in rehearsals for the damn choir to sort their shit out. Swore myself off musicals after that.

Good luck! Have fun.

Lol, well there is a joke amongst musos that singers are not to be confused with musicians! Think i'd better run for cover now.

Nah, not a dumb question at all. Papakura is in south Auckland - wot stands between Manukau and the Bombays! I wouldn't worry about having to ask about location, I've lived in Auckland most of my life and there's heaps of places that I wouldn't have a clue how to find here

wises.co.nz is the best way to find someplace. I use it heaps. There are others too, smaps.co.nz and maps.google.com, but I think wises is the best for road directions, while google maps is best for terrain and route-planning.

Sound like you are having fun with your theatrical things, Princess. :sunny:
