Hi, I am new to this scene and about two years ago bought a 50cc Scooter for a bit of fun! It has hooked me line and sinker and now want to move up. Question: I have spent time looking at heaps of models and types of bikes and have sort of bought the choice to either the Suzuki Intruder VL250 or the Honda CBR125. I am not the tallest girl in the room so need a bike that I can put my feet on the ground safely. Anyone out there able to offer some advice, hints, tips etc on what I should look for?
cheers Betty

Gidday Betty,
The biking world is your oyster...

Go out & blag a test ride on anything you can possibly touch the ground on - ultimately it's about what you feel most comfortable on & more importantly, in control of...

Not to mention, its a great way to spend a Saturday !!!

Taking your height (or lack of  !!!) into consideration I'd be suggesting that you concern yourself with what actually fits rather than what brand X has to offer over Brand Y

Choosing the right bike now can mean the difference between a life long passion & a passing phase that you quickly tire of...

Go fourth & have fun - theres a myriad of bikes out there, ride em all & then make a decision on what to buy

Cheers

Either of those two would be a good choice! They are different styles, so I'd suggest riding both to see whether you prefer a cruiser or a sports bike. The little CBR is getting rave reviews world-wide, but may be a wee bit down on power, leading to a bit of frustration after a few months.

May not, of course, depending on how experienced and brave you are, but both should be easy to ride and utterly reliable!
