Thinking about getting the little girl a motor bike

she will be seven in june not sure what sized bike would be good dont really want to take her lookung as it would take away the surprise
what would be sutable dont want somthing to small or stupidly expensive

Depending on her size she would fit the PW50 if on the smaller side, My daughter has one and she is now 8 and still fits it. Next best would be a TTR50E these also have electric start.

Start off on a small 50cc quad bike to get used to using the throttle etc, then move on to a semi automaic (no clutch), or fully manual just see how she goes. pitbike or similar.

I would suggest staying away from the chinese stuff, beeter to go for an old japper to be honest. It will last longer.

Also, keep the hell away from 50/50 racing by the panmure roundabout, used to work for him, quit due to the shady way he waqs doing business.

Do not trust the fella.

The only chinese i would say to go for if thats what you want to do is the Lifan. from lifan motorcycles new zealand limited.

He has dealers all around the country, i worked there as his mechanic for nearly 2 years, top guy, stands by his product and always has a full stock of spares.

He the only chinese bike importer ive found that when he says full parts backup, he actually means it.

Take from this post what you wish, just giving an opinion from somebody who has worked in the industry.

Yeah true, but the rush of an engine can be all a bit much to think about when they just start then they cant concentrate on actually cornering etc
i would say quad first but err...

She is 7 so i guess a 2 wheeler would be okay, but she will need full gear.

pw 50 /80 you can get trainer wheels as well then as they advance remove them.

would rather not go to a quad as her balance is pretty good she does jumps and skids on her push bike and seems to be geting the changing gear thing

pw50 sounds good a little woryed it may be to small but may not be the case
thinking the pw80 might be to tall at 660 seat

If the PW50 is too small get the TTR50E as i's just a little bigger. PW80 would be too big in my opinion.

at 7 a pw50 may be a bit small, the ttr50.crf50 or drz70 would b ea better fit, they all have 3 speed boxes, auto clutchs and thottle limiters, any of them would be a good pick, the ttr are drz have electric starters where as the crf is kick start, all three are bullet proof, and are very easily sold on when you are done with them,

the chinese stuff is questionable quality, and spares are sometimes impossible to get, and they have very little resale
